Regulars rave about the breakfast options, particularly the country fried steak and eggs, which often receive high marks for flavor. The homemade sourdough toast stands out for its delightful taste, a true testament to the restaurant's emphasis on quality ingredients. Guests love the loaded avocado bread, especially for its healthy twist on a classic. The excellent coffee and diverse tea selection consistently draw praise, setting the tone for a relaxed meal. The friendly and attentive staff contribute to a positive experience, making diners feel valued and well taken care of.

Most Disliked

Some guests have noted the scrambled eggs can occasionally lack the desired fluffy texture, leading to disappointment. A few feedback mentions that the home fries could be crispier or chopped into smaller pieces for better texture. There are instances where the eggs served may seem smaller than expected, impacting the overall value for diners seeking a hearty breakfast. While the staff are quick to assist, busy peak times might lead to longer waiting periods for those who visit during rush hours. Acknowledging these suggestions shows the establishment’s continuous efforts to enhance diner satisfaction.

We were looking for a breakfast place that we hadn't tried before. We happened onto Sunshine and Pa's. We could tell it had been there quite a while and they seemed to have a nice group of "regulars ". The servers were excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The breakfast menu was enormous! Truly something for everyone. The food was good. My husband loved his country fried steak and eggs. My food was pretty good too, but I really didn't like the scrambled eggs. They were flat and overcooked, not fluffy. Could definitely be improved. The sourdough toast tasted homemade and I loved it. Friendly atmosphere. We'll be back again.

Every year we get breakfast here when we visit family and every year it is great! This year was the best! Excellent staff and great food! We saw our waitress have to deal with a difficult customer and she handled it like a pro and did not miss a beat. Our family will keep coming back every year! Great job S&P staff!!

A must for breakfast or lunch! A quaint old house converted into a restaurant. Excellent service and a wide selection of breakfast and lunch food. Everything we had was delicious and perfectly made to order. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable with all the options. There was plenty of room inside and everything was clean. We look forward to going back often.

Awesome place for a quaint and delicious breakfast. My server, Hailey, was amazing. I highly recommend the loaded avocado bread! Yum! Great coffee too!

We went here for breakfast, and it was good. As it turns out, many places are closed on Tuesdays in the Laconia/Meredith N.H. area, so just finding this place was open was great. The staff was friendly, and our food was good. I had a Western Omelet, and it was good. The only real knock was the eggs seem to be small. I would also have preferred the home fries chopped into smaller pieces and perhaps a little bit crispier, but that is really personal preference. Even the green peppers could have been chopped a bit more. Overall, we were happy we went for breakfast here.

This places gets five stars across the board. Great location, super-friendly servers, affordable prices, a fabulous menu, and what my husband called the "best hollandaise sauce" he's ever had. Big fans and highly recommend.

The best sausage gravy I have had in a long time. I ordered the Benedict Arnold and everything about it was perfect. Just add pepper and it's a solid breakfast
